Goodbye & Thank You to Tribeca Jazz Institute Artistic Director Grant Stewart

We are saddened to announce that Grant Stewart, Artistic Director of Church Street School's Tribeca Jazz Institute, has announced that he will be moving on from the Tribeca Jazz Institute. While Grant will be deeply missed, we are immensely grateful for his time and dedication to this program and are excited to see him embark on the next chapter of his celebrated career. We wish him continued success in all that lies ahead.

We are also thrilled to announce that TJI's current Assistant Director and administrative lead Chris Byars will be continuing as the Tribeca Jazz Institute Interim Director. Chris's commitment to the study, pedagogy, performance, and artistry of jazz, along with his years of dedication to TJI, make him a natural choice to lead this program during this transition. We are delighted to see him rise to this new role and look forward to all that is ahead.
