APPLICATION DEADLINES & REQUIREMENTS: • Applications for scholarships must be submitted no later than: • July 1st – Fall Semester • December 1st – Spring Semester • To inquire about financial aid support, please email info@churchstreetschool.org.(mailto:info@churchstreetschool.org) • To inquire about financial aid support for the Tribeca Jazz Institute, please email chrisbyarstji@churchstreetschool.org.(mailto:chris@churchstreetschool.org) • Students/Families will be asked to complete Church Street School’s Financial Aid Application (https://de47a38c-063c-4d91-974a-b277ba4adc8b.usrfiles.com/ugd/de47a3_330093ce62ce47bb87f122975ed8817f.pdf)and provide a copy of last year’s tax return. • Students/Families may be asked to provide additional documentation to verify financial need. • All financial information is kept strictly confidential. AWARD POLICIES: • Financial aid is applied directly to tuition (per class or lesson). No funds are distributed as cash.  • Awards apply only to the approved semester(s) and do not carry over. • Adjustments to lesson length or enrollment may result in changes to the award. • Awards are reviewed annually and may vary based on funding availability and enrollment. • While we aim to make programs accessible, families should expect to contribute a portion of tuition or a certain number of volunteer hours whenever possible. • The receipt of financial aid does not guarantee future awards. • We recognize that families may face challenges (work schedules, transportation, health, etc.) and encourage open communication so we can support you. • Church Street School does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, nationality, sex, ethnic origin or religious beliefs in its admissions, financial aid, scholarship, or other educational policies.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS • Financial aid scholarship award thresholds based on annual household income: • $100,000 - $120,000 – 5% to 10% scholarship • $90,000 - $100,000 – 10% to 25% scholarship • $80,000 - $90,000 – 25% to 50% scholarship • $70,000 - $80,000 – 50% to 75% scholarship • $60,000 - $70,000 – 75% to 85 scholarship • Less than $60,000 – 100% scholarship • Full scholarships are limited and awarded based on exceptional need and available funding. • These ranges represent typical scholarship awards based on household income and are not guaranteed. Final awards may be adjusted based on household size, extraordinary expenses, and available funding. • Above income thresholds do not apply to Tribeca Jazz Institute students. AWARDEE PARTICIPATION EXPECTATIONS • Financial aid scholarship awardees are expected to: • Attend classes and lessons regularly • Arrive prepared and engaged • Communicate about absences. If attendance or participation becomes a concern, our team will reach out to offer support and discuss next steps.
