  • Voice Instructors 

Church Street School for Music and Art is a nonprofit organization in lower Manhattan, serving over 10,000 people annually. We are in search of a passionate, fun, and creative voice instructor to teach private lessons, group classes, and ensembles.

  • Early Childhood Specialist 

Church Street School for Music and Art is seeking an early childhood specialist starting immediately. We offer music & movement classes for Newborn - 2 years, 16 - 36 months, and 2 - 5 years;  and art classes for 16-36 months and 2 - 5 years.

​A music therapist/arts educator with early childhood music experience and training in the Dalcroze method a plus. A candidate with experience teaching both music and art is ideal; those with experience in either music or art are encouraged to apply. 

Experienced teachers in the following areas are also encouraged to apply.

  • Early Childhood Music

  • Early Childhood Visual Art

  • Visual Art (5 yrs-adult)

  • Instrumental and vocal music instruction (5 yrs-adult)

Volunteer Opportunities

Thanks for seeking out ways to volunteer with Church Street School for Music and Art! There are SO many ways to get involved with CSSMA and we are always excited to welcome new friends who are interested in helping to keep our organization running and thriving.

We offer opportunities to teens through adults.

Want to work with kids? Perhaps volunteering in one of our after school classes or holiday camps is for you. Do you love special events? We hold several every year, including our spring block party, Halloween Spooktacular party, our Gingerbread Workshops, our amazing gala, and so many more.

Church Street School is also happy to welcome those who want to get involved with our parent committees. If you have experience with community building and fundraising, or have ideas about ways CSSMA can partner with other like-minded organizations, please let us know!

The opportunities are really endless.
