For nearly 10 years, Edella Litvak has taught piano passionately in the New York metropolitan area and on Long Island. Beginning her studies at 8 years old, Edella learned passion and discipline go hand in hand, now aiming to teach students her students the same. Through her teaching, Edella emphasizes the importance of discipline and how it interacts with all areas of the students life. Using music, Edella fosters a sense of discipline, pride in one’s work, and problem solving skills applicable to areas of the students life beyond the instrument. Edella also believes that passion for music can come at any age, and anyone is able to learn how to play piano and understand the beauty music has to offer. While specializing in classical piano, Edella gives students a solid technical foundation and understanding of music which propels them forward and allows students to play the music they care to learn.
