Natalie Barkman is a guitarist, vocalist, theatre artist, and creative educator with over a decade of experience in music & arts education. She began her musical journey at the age of 11, studying violin with her mentor, Romina Kostare. With time, she expanded her expertise, adding more strings to her repertoire - mandolin, guitar, & ukulele. She holds a double major BFA in Theater Arts & Psychology and, as a vocalist, theatre artist, & comedian, has had the pleasure of performing and playing with off-broadway venues and open mics throughout NYC.

Drawing from her background and passion for performance, music education, and early childhood development, she believes meaningful education (across the board) begins by meeting students where they are, balancing technical skill with creativity, and fostering confidence in the unknown from the get-go. Natalie strives to make every lesson both musically enriching and memorable, blending technical instruction with creativity, curiosity, and genuine connection. Her goal is for every student to leave each lesson with stronger musicianship, pride, and a spark of inspiration.
