
Andy Pomykalski
Art Teacher
Andy is an educator and interdisciplinary artist whose practice focuses mainly on painting but also blends sculpture, animation, and music. Throughout his 12 years teaching at Church Street School, he’s taught private and group art classes in early childhood, toddler, young adult, and teen programs.
Andy holds a BFA in Painting from Rhode Island School of Design in 2010. He has had solo exhibitions at Y2K Group in New York and Espacio Potential in Bogota, Colombia. He has been featured in group exhibitions in Manchester, United Kingdom at PS Mirabel; in Gothenburg, Sweden at Nevven Gallery, and MX gallery, Mana Contemporary and Canada Gallery in New York. He has received a fellowship at Oxbow School, the Florence Leif Grant, and a Rema Hort Mann Foundation Grant nomination.
Andy is represented by Y2K Group in NYC and lives and works in Brooklyn.
