Thanddnes Palmer is an exciting young composer, producer and trumpet player based out of Brooklyn, New York. He has a great sound and the ability to play any genre. This is a name to remember. Thanddnes began his musical journey at the Church Street School for Music & Art under the guidance of Johanna Kopp.Her teachings would lay the groundwork for future success. At the age of 10 he picked up the trumpet, starting his journey in Jazz and Classical music. Participating in programs such as The Juilliard map program, Manhattan school of music pre-college, and the New York youth Symphony. As well as  traveling the world to participate in events such as The Guinness Cork Jazz Festival in Ireland  and Gustavo Dudamel's AMERICAS Tour in Mexico. He  has studied under many great musicians such as Marcus Printup, Jeremy Pelt, Reggie Workman. He recently graduated from The New School where he studied Jazz Trumpet under Jimmy Ownes.

Thanddnes blends the elements of Jazz and Hip-hop into his compositions to create a chill and vibrant sound. Which he showcases in groups such as Slum Children as well as his own band Dog in the Box. In the near future he hopes to continue his musical endeavors by creating a studio album as well as continuing to perfect his production. Thanddnes is an amazing trumpet player with an astounding amount of potential and the ability to connect with the masses. And will definitely be making a name for himself within the coming years.
