Antoine Thouvenin, violinist and guitarist, is a graduate from various French conservatories as well as the prestigious Haute Ecole de Musique de Geneve and the Bern Swiss Jazz School. In 2011, he was awarded a grant from the François Chevrolet Foundation in Geneva to pursue his artistic projects.  In 2014, he was awarded funds from the Wilsdorf Fondation to study at Queens College in New York. As a violinist, he has played on prestigious stages such as the Montreux Jazz Festival, Les Estivales de Meugève, Cully Jazz International Festival, Fara Sabina Jazz Festival, International Dixieland Jazz Festival in Tarragona. At the International A.M.R Jazz festival in Geneva he opened for the all-star band, The Impossible Gentleman. In October 2018, he recorded with Juana Luna at the “Studio 42” in Brooklyn and in Summer 2020, he joined the Café Royal granted 2Birds Band for an upcoming recording at Flux Studio Manhattan.
