World Drumming Ensemble

Ever-popular instructor Matt Baranello leads the class through in-depth explorations of the music and rhythms of Africa, Cuba, Brazil, the Middle East, and more. Students will learn foundational rhythms and basic techniques on hand drums, djembe, shakers, and other handheld percussion instruments, while studying meter and learning to play together in an ensemble. This is a fun, high energy class well-suited for both beginners and intermediate drum set players alike.
