
Aditi Prakash

Aditi Prakash is a violin and viola instructor originally from the Chicagoland area. She is currently pursuing her master’s degree at The Juilliard School. Prakash grew up studying the Suzuki Method with Suzuki pedagogues Edward Kreitman and Nancy Jackson and went on to receive her undergraduate degrees in performance at the Eastman School of Music and in anthropology at the University of Rochester.
Upon graduating, she received the Robert L. Oppelt Viola Award as well as a Performer’s Certificate, both of which recognize outstanding performing ability. She was a section member of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, and was actively involved in several after school projects with Chicago Public Schools.
As a teacher, Prakash aims to create a safe and fun learning environment, giving her students long lasting knowledge, skills, and memories. Outside of music, she enjoys spending time with her cat, Ginny, abstract painting, playing video games, and writing.
