Bianca Dominguez

Art Teacher

Bianca Rose Dominguez (Puertorican and Ecuadorian American) is an artist, healing arts practitioner and educator. Dominguez works with the traditional craft material, red clay, and collaborates with indigenous artisans to create installations, performances, and community-based art projects. She also works with found natural materials, fibers and collage to create works that investigate the human condition in relation to the earth and spirit. 


She holds a BA in visual arts from Columbia University. She is a Mortimer Hays Brandeis Traveling Fellow (2022-2023) having had the opportunity to travel to Ecuador and Mexico to further her research in indigenous craft, shamanism, and the holistic arts. She founded Medicine For the People, an ongoing project bringing together healers and artists to cultivate communal sacred spaces, to engage in the intersectionalities of social practice and healing through the arts. She has showcased in New York as well as in Mexico. Dominguez currently lives in Brooklyn, New York.
