Steve Jabas

Steve Jabas has taught guitar, bass and music technology for over 10 years. He is also a performer, composer/arranger, and producer, and recently composed scores for the short film A Family Portrait and the independent feature Shadowboxer. Originally from Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota, Steve received a BFA in Music from the University of Minnesota in 1996. Afterward, he performed and traveled to over 30 countries with Premier Cruise Line and Norwegian Cruise Line, working as a guitarist and music director onboard several ships. Steve currently works with various groups in the NYC area including The Stingers, Hot Peas ‘N Butter (currently seen daily on the Noggin TV channel) and singer-songwriters Noah Levi and Allison Scola.
