Faculty Bios

Paul Odeh

Paul Odeh has been a professional pianist since he was thirteen years old. A versatile performer, he has performed with the likes of Ron Carter, Roy Hargrove, Grady Tate, Buddy DeFranco and many others. He studied at Manhattan School of Music with Jackie Byard and at the Stanford Jazz Work Shop with Mulgrew Miller and Kenny Barron. Paul’s teaching philosophy is a combination of theoretical and intuitive ear-based musical training. Currently he is performing around the city and composing music for his own band.
