Since 1990, we have connected over 4,000 families with their musical and artistic voices. Our methods are cutting-edge, and our faculty is world-renowned. We love our students, and we love what we do. We know that a living, breathing community school for the arts is a valuable resource for the downtown community... our community.

We also know what it takes to make it happen, which is why we value your support. Tuition covers only 85% of what it takes to keep Church Street School for Music and Art going. And the needs of our growing community have required that we too continue to build and grow. The beautiful expansion of our facility, and the financial burden it carries, are proof of our commitment to the community we love to serve.

Register for as many days per week as you desire. Supervised homework room and pick-up from local schools. Combine Arts Academy with group instrumental classes, private lessons or any Church Street School offerings that meet within this time frame at a discounted price.

Tuesday: Digital Art, Recorder
Wednesday: Video, Stop-Motion Film, Choristers
Thursday: Painting & Sculpture, Hip Hop Dance
Friday: Open Art, Open Improv

This Spring the children of Afterschool Arts Academy walked the red carpet at the Tribeca Film Festival as part of “Children Behind the Camera” where there Afterschool Arts Academy film was shown.
