Ilinka Manova

Pianist Ilinka Manova, a native of Macedonia, has stud­ied in Cologne, Germany, at the Manhattan School of Music, and at SUNY Purchase, where she earned her Master’s degree. She was a win­ner in the 2001 Artists International Competition and was awarded a recital in Carnegie’s Weill Recital Hall. Other awards include the prestigious DAAD German scholarship in 1995. She was also the winner of the Yugoslav National Competition for Musicians in the piano category. She has performed in Paris, Rome, Bonn, Cologne, New York City, Senigalia, Thessaloniki, Skopje, Ohrid, Belgrade, and Ljubljana. Ilinka is a Managing Director of ArtsAhimsa, a non- profit organization that promotes non-violence through the Arts.
