Faculty Bios

Cynthia Newman

Cynthia Newman studied early childhood education at Empire State College and the Dalcroze Method at Diller-Quaile School of Music. She is currently studying the Dalcroze Method and piano improvisational techniques with Anne Farber at the Lucy Moses School of Music. She has been teaching music and movement to children throughout New York City for eighteen years. She has worked with children with learning disabilities and special needs at the Aaron School, Central Park Early Learning Center, and at the 92nd Street Y.
