Faculty Bios

Anna Alder

Anna Adler was born in Moscow, Russia and moved to the US in 1990. She received her undergraduate degree in Studio Art from New York University, with a minor in Russian & Slavic Studies. Her concentration was in sculpture, including work with mixed media such as clay, fabric, plaster, and light metals (jewelry). Aside from teaching art to children ages 2-12 at Church Street School, she is a member of the Gowanus Studio Space, where she is currently working on sculptures, drawings, and jewelry.
