Faculty Bios


Agnes Kubeczko

Agnes holds a Master’s degree in piano and music performance from the Academy of Music in Krakow, and a Piano Pedagogy Certificate from the Academy of Music in Warsaw. Her teachers included renowned educators and artists Grzegorz Szymanski, Irena Sijalowa-Vogel, Miroslaw Herbowski, Ewa Wolak-Moszynska, Alexander Jenner, Rudolf Buchbinder, Urszula Smoczynska-Nachtman, and Ulrike Jungmair. She was an assistant professor of piano at Swietokrzyska Academy in Kielce/Poland, where she frequently presented workshops and lectures on pedagogy, and adjudicated festivals and competitions. An active recitalist and chamber musician, she has appeared at music festivals around the world and given recitals in both Europe and the United States. In New York, Agnes performs as a piano soloist and as a chorus ensemble accompanist. She has taught Dalcroze Eurhythmics to children of all age groups, including thirteen years spent teaching in several kindergartens. Her unique education and experience has enabled her to nurture children's exceptional musical and artistic talents as well as to lend her expertise to underprivileged and disabled children.
