Abigail Payne

Abigail Payne has been performing in New York City since 2003. She received her degree in Jazz Studies from Purchase College, having studied with masters such as Jon Faddis, Dena DeRose, and Pete Malinverni. She formed The Abigail Payne Band in 2004, which performed her original music in several clubs throughout the city. The band recorded an album, About a Cake, in 2005. Payne has also recorded with Gary Wright, Jimmy Haslip, and Will Kennedy. She is currently working on a solo album and performing her music regularly in the New York City area.
